도예가였던 어머니의 영향으로 어린 시절부터 책을 읽고, 이야기를 만드는 일을 좋아했습니다. 그녀는 새롭고 다양한 방법으로 그림책을 표현해 내는 일에 늘 호기심을 가지고 있으며, 그녀의 작품을 회화, 점토, 섬유, 목각 등을 이용해 다양하게 표현되고 있습니다. 지금은 언덕 위 사과나무가 자라는 곳에서 강아지 두 마리와 함께 즐겁게 작업하고 있습니다.
Lizi Boyd is the author and illustrator of many children"s books, including Inside Outside and Flashlight, and also creates papers, ribbons, cards, and other works of delight. She lives in Vermont.
