일러스트레이터 소개
1959년에 태어난 프랑스 작가입니다. 학창 시절 선생님들을 풍자하는 그림을 그려 재능을 보였고, 그 뒤 파리 에스티엔느 그래픽 미술 학교에서 공부하면서 동시에 순수 회화를 시작했습니다. 오랫동안 광고 일을 했고, 프랑스와 미국에서 여는 전시회에도 참가했습니다. 프랑스에서 가장 큰 서점인 푸낙에서 주목할 만한 작가로 선정되었고, 2003년 생텍쥐페리 상을 받기도 했습니다. 지오라는 잡지에서 현장 기자를 하며 여행기를 썼고, 지금은 아이들을 위한 책에 글도 쓰고 그림도 그리고 있습니다. 그림뿐 아니라 언어를 다룰 줄 아는 예술가로 평가받고 있습니다. 그림책『커다란 나무』를 지었습니다.
