2016년 칼데콧상 명예상 수상자이며, 맷 드 라 페냐의 『마켓 스트리트의 마지막 정류장』 (퍼트넘, 2015)에 실린 그림으로 코레타 스콧 킹 일러스트레이터 명예상을 수상했습니다. 드 라 페냐는 미국 아동도서관협회가 수여하는 "가장 뛰어난 아동 도서"에 수여되는 2016년 뉴베리상을 수상했습니다. 로빈슨이 그림을 그리고 맥 바넷이 글을 쓴 『레오: 유령 이야기』 (크로니클, 2015)는 2015년 뉴욕 타임스 선정 최고의 그림 동화책으로 뽑혔습니다. 패트리샤 허비 파월이 글을 쓴 그의 또 다른 작품 『조세핀: 조세핀 베이커의 눈부신 삶』 (크로니클, 2014)은 미국 도서관 협회의 시버트 정보 도서상 명예상과 코레타 스콧 킹 그림상 명예상, 보스턴 글로브-혼북 논픽션 명예상, 2014년 패런츠 초이스 시 부문 금메달, 월스트리트 저널 선정 올해의 10대 어린이 책 등 수많은 상을 받았습니다. 샌프란시스코에 거주하는 로빈슨은 애니메이터로도 활동하며 세서미 스트리트 워크숍과 픽사 애니메이션 스튜디오에서 작업했습니다.
