1985년 이탈리아 톨란티노에서 태어났다. 마세라타 미술대학에서 미술을, 대학원에서 광고 일러스트레이션을 공부했고, 마우리치오 콰렐로의 지도를 받았다. 첫 번째 작품 『La rosa』는 2011년 CJ 그림책 상을 수상했으며, 2015년 『Le case degli altri bambini』로 볼로냐 라가치 상 오페라 프리마 부분을 수상했다. 현재 톨란티노에서 강아지 세 마리와 고양이 두 마리와 함께 살고 있다.
