일러스트레이터 소개
브라운 대학을 졸업하고 휘트니 미술관에서 인디펜던트 스튜디오 프로그램을 수료했다. 아버지인 월터 딘 마이어스가 쓴『할렘』에서 그림을 그려 코레타 스코트 킹아너와 칼데콧 아너를 받았다. 또 마이클 프란츠 상을 받은 아버지의 책『괴물』에도 그림을 그렸다. 자신이 직접 쓰고 그린 책으로는『날개와 검은 고양이』『태양을 향해 뛰어라』가 있다.
