제니수 코스테키 쇼(JennySue Kostecki Shaw)

제니 수 코스테키-쇼 (Jenny Sue Kosteki- Shaw)는 미국 켄사스 시티 미술 연구소와 일러스트 아카데미에서 공부한 일러스트레이터이다. 남편인 패트릭, 그리고 개 ‘오소’와 함께 뉴 멕시코 주 북부의 산속에서 살고 있는 제니 수는 꿈꾸는 눈동자 때문에 안경을 쓰고, 한족 눈에 안대를 붙여야 했던 일곱 살 때 경험을 바탕으로 이 책을 썼다. 요즘 제니 수는 한가할 때면 그림을 그리고, 차이(여러 가지 향신료를 넣은 인도식 차)를 마시고, 정원을 가꾸고, 풀밭에 드러누워 구름을 바라보며 소일하고 있다. 이 그림책은 작가의 첫 번째 작품이다.
