인스타 문학과 미술사를 공부하면서 글을 쓰고 싶다는 마음을 품게 되었고, 어린이들을 위해 거리 도서관을 이끌었다. 그 뒤 스트라스부르의 장식미술학교에 입학하면서 어린이·청소년 책에 그림을 그리기 시작했고, 2010년에 일러스트로 학위를 받았다. 《딴생각 중》을 비롯하여 총 네 권의 책을 펴냈다.
