일러스트레이터 소개
캐나다 토론토에서 태어났습니다. 캐나다 캘거리의 알버타 미술 대학에서 섬유 디자인을 공부하고 몬트리올의 콘코르디아 대학과 밴쿠버의 에밀리 카 미술 디자인 대학에서 미술을 전공했습니다. 프랑스인과 아메리칸 인디언과의 혼혈로 태어난 작가는 혼혈 문화에 많은 관심을 갖고 있습니다. 사진과 드로잉, 페인팅을 결합시킨 작품과 일러스트레이션을 선보이며 그림책 〈올빼미는 밤에 잘 봐〉로 크리스티 해리스 그림책상을 수상했고, 어린이책 분야 장관상 후보에 올랐습니다. 현재는 캐나다의 밴쿠버에 살면서 작품 활동을 하고 있습니다.
